Hybrid Outdoor Training
(H.O.T.)
Are you stuck in a rut with your exercise routine?
You spend hours a week working out in the gym, but you are not reaching your goals.
If you want things to change, then change something.
TRAIN OUTSIDE THE BOX!!
MOVE like you did when you were a kid.
FEEL like you can conquer anything.
LOOK like you're in the best shape of your life.
The gym can be "the box". It seems like the more gyms that we have in the United States, the more deconditioned we get as a culture. Our technology is "better" and we have "better" equipment, but somehow we keep gaining weight, keep getting injured, and limiting our lives more and more.
H.O.T. is outside the box.
No sitting. No mirrors.
Just hard work. Total body movement. And lots of fun.
From taking H.O.T. you will:
- Be Stronger
- Be more Powerful
- Have more endurance
- Be more durable (be less likely to get injured)
- Be able to accomplish daily activities easier
- Improve your performance in the recreational sport of your choice
- Learn new, cutting edge exercises to enhance your workouts at home or in the "box". . .I mean gym
Hybrid Outdoor Training is a circuit-style, interval fitness class based on sound functional movement principles. It is designed to challenge your whole body as a unit from head to toe in many different planes using unique equipment and modes of training. There is an emphasis on core stability, strength, and power; balance and body awareness; and agility.
Each class is one hour and includes a full warm-up with dynamic flexibility and corrective exercises, 3-5 functional circuits, a cool-down and stretch, and weekly take-home exercises and nutrition hand-outs. In the 12-week class cycle you will progress from focusing on stability and endurance, to building lean muscle, to developing strength, to producing raw power.
There is no better, more comprehensive class around.
Classes meet every Saturday at 8:30AM at Seven Locks (Palisades) Park in Cabin John, MD.
Classes are $25 each, or $19.21 if you sign-up for the "Stimulus Package".
